    Maybe 100 Years?

    By Jim O | April 30, 2008

Nope. It’s time to be thinking about drawing down our troop commitments overseas. We have other bases in the middle east in places where we are welcome. Places such as Bahrain, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Oman, and Qatar.

McCain is wrong about this. The Iraqis do not want us. That much is clear. Fifty or more years? Ridiculous!

To take it a step further, the US is overextended overseas, and borrowing money that we do not have to support this mission. We have so many problems at home that it’s time to see to them and let Iraqis take over their own security.
